How to make Gingerbread Dog Cookies:

Below you’ll find the list of ingredients you’ll need to make these gingerbread cookies for your pet. As you will see, a lot of the ingredients are items you should already have in your kitchen. That’s exactly why we picked it! This recipe is affordable, convenient, and delicious!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 cup of molasses
4 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of water
œ cup of vegetable oil
6 cups of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of ground cloves
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh ginger (or) one teaspoon of dried, powder ginger

HOW TO MAKE:

Step 1: First things first, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, grab two decent-sized bowls, one larger than the other.

Step 2: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the molasses, honey, water, and oil.

Step 3: In the larger-sized bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger.

Step 4: Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir together until fully combined.

Step 5: Once your mixture is ready, divide the dough into four balls.

Step 6: Wrap each ball in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for three to five hours. If you are in a hurry, you can freeze them for one to two hours. The most important thing is that the dough can't become solid/hard!

Step 7: Once your dough has chilled, lightly flour your surface and roll the dough out with a 1/4-inch thickness. (If you choose to make it thicker, keep in mind that it will take longer to cook).

Step 8: Once you’ve rolled out your dough to the desired thickness, grab some Christmas-themed cookie cutters and start carving out your cookies!

Step 9: Head over to your preheated oven once you’ve carved out all your gingerbread men and snowmen, and bake the cookies for 20 to 25 minutes. The cookies will turn a golden brown once they are done.

Step 10: Allow the cookies to cool for 10 to 15 minutes and serve!

Happy Holidays to your Doggo!

Your dog is going to LOVE these simple, easy, and clean cookies! They will scarf the first few up so fast before they even get a chance to taste it! 😉😂

The best part about this recipe is it can be used all year round! Simply use a pizza cutter to make your cookies into strips rather than decorating them Christmas-style.

We hope you enjoy baking these delicious treats and we know your pup will love them! Happy Holidays! â€ïžđŸ¶đŸ˜‹
